Location of Chantmarle Manor in Dorset

Chantmarle Manor is approximately one mile from Cattistock in Dorset and within 10 miles of Yeovil and Dorchester. The Manor is set in the valley of the River Frome, in the very heart of Thomas Hardy country. The South Coast is only 14 miles away.

Approaching from the north:

• From Yeovil, take the A37 (Dorchester)
• After approximately 10 miles, turn right (signposted Chantmarle/Frome St Quintin)
• Proceed through the village of Frome St Quintin, turn right (signposted Chantmarle), just before some thatched cottages
• Proceed for 500 yards, down a hill and over the railway bridge
• The car park is on the right hand side.

Approaching from the south:

• From Dorchester, take the A37 (Yeovil)
• After approximately 10 miles, turn left (signposted Chantmarle/Cattistock)
• Proceed down the hill, take the first right (signposted Chantmarle). Please note this is a very tight turn!
• Take the next turning left (signposted Chantmarle) by some thatched cottages
• Proceed for 500 yards, down a hill and over the railway bridge
• The car park is on the right hand side.
