Where do I begin? We got married in August and the reception was held there. It was then that our friends and family fell in love with the place almost as instantly as I did. During my endless search for the perfect venue (I am sure all brides know what I am talking about) we stumbled upon this website. We were enchanted and arranged a visit.

The moment my fiance and I drove up to the Manor I was ensnared. It felt so hidden, so private. We were shown around the house and gardens and I knew that this was it. We placed a deposit that same day. In all honesty working out some of the logistics was difficult at times and I was living in Essex at the time and found it hard to make my way down to Dorset. However it was most definitely worth it!

The venue coordinators accommodated me at every turn; from the menu to the day's timing and the accommodation. The staff were very pleasant and polite, with a constant smile on their faces. The food prepared was of the highest standard. The rooms are beautifully presented and one truly feels elated when wandering through the meandering corridors.

We had a very intimate wedding and I am sure all my guests will agree, that it did not feel like a "function" at a hotel. We felt as if it were our home for the couple of nights that we spent there. In our opinion that is what makes Chantmarle Manor the perfect wedding venue.
